1996 City of South Pasadena Speed Zone Study

Issues with Meridian Avenue are hardly recent. In this study from 1996, a former Public Works Director wanted to increase Meridian speed to 30 mph and offset the replacing of sign costs with collecting more fines from speeding traffic. No thoughts about pedestrian safety…it’s all about the cars!
