Petition to the City to Honor the Memory of Beatriz Solis

Earlier this year a dedicated community activist who lives in our community, Dr. Beatriz Solis, died. Her husband, Mr. Mohammed Pasebani, is asking if individuals would like to co-sign the letter below to be sent to the South Pasadena Commission on Parks and Recreation. One of Dr. Solis’ pet projects was to advocate that the City purchase the Caltrans vacant lot near the corner of Berkshire Avenue and Valley View Road and have it made into a pocket park.  That goal of turning the lot into a true pocket park has not yet been fully met.
